![]() The Award is presented by the President of the Council of the St. John Ambulance Brigade of Ireland and offers subjects usually outside the normal curriculum designed to stimulate interest and develop the aims of St. John Ambulance. Each member must complete twelve proficiency subjects which are spread over a period of not less than 36 months, thus completing a maximum of four proficiency subjects each year. Competitions
Our Division has been very successful in the past with regards to competiting against other Division's of St. John Ambulance.
The Competitions are the nearest anyone can get to having a actual injury, thus allowing our members to show there skills in areas such as First Aid, Caring, C.P.R., WheelChair and Bedmaking.
